Honestly, I still feel like I need some help in this area ... but I have managed to get the girls to nap at the same time most days. I did this by monitoring how long Abigail (my youngest) could stay awake after she woke up. Then I moved Grace's (my oldest) naptime by 15 minutes each day until they went down about the same time.

If I have to take them to do errands during the day I schedule errand time during the morning hours when it's less crowded and my girls are in better moods.

I give them baths together to save time (and water). This makes bedtime move a lot quicker.

During the summer, I stay consistent with naps (or quiet time for my older ones - Mommy needs a break too!) and bedtime. During the school year, the routine is much more "routine" in that we have school schedules and activity schedules, but I also keep it consistent with my toddler so he knows what is to be expected. I find that my kids act much, much better on a routine.
