Mmmm Good Monday: Oriental Salad

served at the September 28 MOPS meeting

1 package coleslaw
1 package broccoli slaw
1 package ramen noodles (chicken flavor), broken into pieces
¼ cup butter
3 tablespoons sesame seeds
¼ cup slivered almonds or cashew nuts

Dressing - mix together:
1 tablespoon soy sauce
½ cup oil
¼ cup vinegar or apple cider vinegar
⅓ cup sugar

Place almonds or cashews, butter and ramen noodles with contents of seasoning packet in a pan.  Saute until nuts are browned.  Right at the end, add sesame seeds.  Watch carefully then turn off heat.  Cool. 

To serve:
Mix the slaws in large bowl.  Right before serving, mix in the cooled nut and noodle mixture, then toss all with the dressing.
